My name is Shawna Richard and I am new to the Columbia Valley. I absolutely love it here. The people are wonderful and the landscape awe inspiring.
My husband and I moved here in spring of ‘08 and instantly felt that it was home. I was born and raised in Edmonton and had lived there my whole life. We moved here seeking a more relaxed pace for our lives. We have both dreamed of living in the mountains for many years and are now realizing that dream. I can’t wait to capture the beauty of this area and it’s residents in photos and share them with the world.

Hi, I’m Damien Richard.  I am very happy to say that my wife and I have recently relocated to Invermere B.C. I was born in Ottawa but at the age of two, My family and I moved to an area just outside of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island called North River. I explored the East Coast until I was in my early twenties. It was then that I moved to Edmonton, Alberta.
Not long after relocating, I found myself visiting the Canadian Rockies…often.. I automatically felt at home in the mountains due to the stunning scenery and small town feel. I am now able to call Invermere home and I couldn’t be happier. I look forward to engrossing myself in this wonderful community and helping to document it through photography,  now and in to the future.

We have recently relocated back to Edmonton, however we loved BC so much we are hoping to get back out there as soon as we can.
