Hello all,
Well it has been a long time since we have posted an update on what we are up to these days. Since wedding season is coming to an end, we have both been working on other projects that involve more than just photography. Each of us has started our own unique website. They are still in their infancy so I will post links once we have the ball rolling a bit more.
We are also considering revamping this page quite a bit. This is why there have been no updates in quite some time. We are still deciding what to do around here or rather putting off deciding
We had an engagement shoot with a very lovely couple this past weekend. Here are some of the results:
These guys were such sweeties and they sent us an email saying:
“ Both Devika and I think you guys were very professional and friendly”.
We definitely enjoyed working with you too Neehar and Devika, and we wish you all the best in your new life together. Have fun in India!
The Photo Storage, a microstock website we submit to, have decided to feature one of our photos on their main page! They change the five featured photos every week or two and this is the third time the Photo Storage have decided to feature our work. Check them out at www.thephotostorage.com

I’m proud to announce that our photo has made it to the final five in the Club Stella Artois Photo Challenge. Here is the photo we entered. If we win we will soon have a ton of photos from London England and Leuven Belgium to share.

Since moving to Invermere we’ve been making a ridiculous amount of
trips back to Alberta, either to Edmonton, Calgary or Canmore as we planned
our wedding last September and travelling for work. Each time we’ve
planned on shooting Castle Mountain but each time we’ve been in too
much of a hurry or the weather hasn’t been on our side. We finally
got a shot we liked on our way into Edmonton a few weeks ago. Here it
is in colour and a black and white version we plan to use for another
project.
We’ve had some four legged friends pop by this week, some expected some not. But all were very welcome. The kitties are more ICAN cats and the deer just wandered through the yard today.
Two of the deer were very curious about me and came right up to our deck. It was very cute. You’ll also notice one of them is missing a chunk of fur from her back. Poor thing. it seems to have healed up okay though.
The kitties are Trouble, Susie, and Tiger. They are all such little (okay not that little actually) sweethearts. Trouble and Susie just love getting belly rubs and they both have such sad looking little faces. Although they are big cats they loved crawling into our laps. Tiger is also super-sweet. He is very cuddly and very licky…now go out and adopt all of them! they all deserve good loving homes
We had a sweet little critter named Stewart in for photos today. Here is how they turned out.
Wow,
It has been way too long since we have posted a new update. We have been busy working on a new site we are developing which is quazi-related to photography. We will post a link if and when we launch the site. While working on said site, I came across a wonderful plugin and decided to add it to this page as well. it’s called Lightbox2 and I think it makes photos look pretty snazzy. I’ve implemented it on previous posts so if you wish to see it in action go ahead and take a look.
We would like to thank everyone who came out to the photo shoot with Santa today, both pet owners and volunteers alike. You all helped make today a great success! We had an awesome time today and are looking forward to next year already. Thank you for supporting such a great organization.

Santa
I’m happy to announce that this Saturday (November 29th) Shawna and I will be providing our services to the Invermere Companion Animal Network for their 2nd annual Pet Photos with Santa event.
For a five dollar (or more if you are so inclined) donation you can have your pet’s photo taken with Santa. This also gets you one print of the photo,
which ICAN will provide. We will be offering digital copies to anyone who would like them as well. This way you can email them to friends, put them on Christmas cards, make more prints….anything but sell them
We are offering the digital copies for an extra five dollar fee.
We are really excited about being involved in another ICAN event, we hope to see you there.
Damien
For the past few weeks Damien and I have been working on a calendar for ICAN to use as a fundraiser. It is complete and copies are now available. Please contact ICAN to find out where you can purchase one. If you do not live in the Columbia Valley and would still like one, stay tuned here for details on how you can order one online.
